iOS 10 update, iTunes says I need to update to version12.5.1 but when I try the App Store says it is already up to day

So I went to update my iPhone 6 to the newest version. I backed up via iTunes and when I hit it tells me that I need to install the newest version of iTunes, version 12.5.1. I click on it and it takes me to the app store that in turn tells me that it is already up to date.

Am I missing something here?
